SHORT DESCRIPTION: Sport Against Violence and Exclusion (SAVE), a project cofunded by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union, seeks to prevent violent and socially exclusive behaviors through physical activity. The current editorial shows a range of possible interpretations of these two phenomena from both a psychological and sociological point of view, offering helpful methods to coaches who train children (ages 6 to 12) in grass-root sport clubs. https://www.sportsave.eu
Sport for health Network – Sport4Health

Sport4HealthNet addresses the topic: encourage participation in sport and physical activity especially by supporting Council Recommendations on HEPA and EU Physical Activity Guidelines. Improving Testing Abilities on Postural and Spinal Column Status – SPINELAB

 The overall objective of this project was to improve the detection and prevention of postural disorders and health problems of the sensorimotor apparatus in children and young people in two regions: the Srem area – Ruma, Stara Pazova, Inđija, Sremska Mitrovica, and the Sarajevo Canton.

This 3-year project aims at filling the gap with a common Sport Science higher education system in Albania, Kosovo under UNSC Resoultion 1244/99 and Serbia, introducing vocationally oriented Masters and Lifelong Learning Programme based on learning outcomes and competencies approach, targeting new and old graduates, with flexible learning pathways and permeability among the different Sport Science/ Physical Education programs, while fostering partnership between universities and stakeholders, and practical training in real working environment to provide a better match between job market needs and the qualifications offered.

PREFIT – proposal of new physical fitness tests in pre-school children

The main goal of the project is to use application and further analysis of the new model of monitoring of physical fitness of pre-school children to identify the components of those models, and based on which the foundation would be established for the projection of the new model for monitoring of motor skills of the children at 3-5 years of age. One of the goals of the study is application of the same methodology for monitoring of physical fitness, as well as use of harmonized and comparable results in order to find certain similarities and patterns in monitoring of development of children in Europe.
EUROBAROMETAR – Physical activity of population in Vojvodina in the context of eurointegration

The project examines the patters and socio-demographic correlations of physical activity of the population of the AP Vojvodina in the context of European integration. Relevant, objective and comparable data on physical activity of the population of the AP Vojvodina have particular importance for the process of European integration, valuing the policies in the field of public health and development of inter-sectoral approach to promotion of physical activity.

Safety of people on and around big water surfaces is of extreme significance for every individual and for the society as a whole. The goal of this research is recording of the level of knowledge and skills of the water sports coaches (swimming, water polo and rowing) to provide first aid to their athletes during trainings or competitions, in order to provide proposal of the measures for increase of the level of knowledge and skills of coaches to provide first aid to their athletes during trainings or competitions.
Peer violence in children and youth sport

Various forms of violence constitute a group of acute problems of contemporary society.  Peer violence is one of the negative characteristics of everyday life and the lifestyle of young people. Having in mind such social circumstances, the authors use this research to establish the forms of peer violence in sports among children or youth.
Analysis of the levels of digitalization in teaching and administrative processes in higher education institutions in AP Vojvodina

The project examines the level of presence and application of digitalization in teaching and administrative processes in higher education institutions in the AP Vojvodina, at the faculties of the University in Novi Sad and the Rectorate of the University in Novi Sad. Along with evaluation of the existing conditions and the level of application of digitalization in higher education, the project enables development of a uniform database and recommendations for implementation and improvement of digitalization in different aspects of activities of higher education institutions in the AP Vojvodina.
