Lidija Markovic, MSc

Lidija Marković obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at the Faculty of sport and physical education in Novi Sad and she has also enrolled Ph.D. studies at the same faculty. In 2014, Ms. Marković got employed as a teacher assistant of major subjects School Physical Education I and II. She has worked from 01.04.2014. to the present. Previous professional orientation is focused on physical education, physical activity, healthy active lifestyle and diet of children, which is indicated through the participation at relevant scientific conferences and projects. She was a member of the organizing committee of the Exercise and Quality of Life conference in 2019 as well as technical and administrative staff at conferences in the region. Recent Projects she has been involved in include: WHO European Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI) (2015-2016), (2018-2019); Health-promoting lifestyle profiles in Serbian adolescents and adults (2016), Physical activity of Vojvodina’s population in the context of EU integration (2019). She has taken part in two professional seminars for PE teachers in front of the Center of Health, Exercise and Sports Sciences. Lidija is currently serving as the Secretary of the Physical and Health Education Unit at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in Novi Sad and she was an active member of the Student Association and she continues to work directly with them today. She is a certified instructor of two group fitness exercise programs and an active member of Red Cross Vojvodina, where she provides lectures lifesaving courses.
