Zoran Milošević was born on 29th of May 1961 in Bijeljina. He finished his elementary school, as well as high school, in his home town. He obtained his faculty degree at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of physical culture. At the same faculty he got his Magistrate degree on the theme “Interests and attitudes towards sport as an instrument of physical education” in 1997. In 2004 he defended his PhD dissertation on the theme “ Effects of different models of motor learning on the level of adoption of technique in football”. On the Faculty of physical culture, today Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, he acquired title of teaching assistant and, later on, titles of docent, associate professor and full professor on the subject Theory and history of sport and physical education. He performed his scientific work on graduate studies (academic and applied), master studies and Phd studies at the University of Novi Sad and University of Montenegro. To date, he published over 150 scientific articles and papers in national and international magazines with focus on theoretically – historical and anthropological aspects of physical exercise. Besides his publishing activity, he is engaged in co-editing of scientific magazine “Sport Mont” (ISSN 1451-7485), which is an official magazine of Sports Academy of Montenegro.
From 2004 until 2008, he was a member of the City council of Novi Sad, whose activity is related to sport. Besides his work on projects related to school sport and mass sport activity, as a member of the city council, he especially stands out as an organizer of European and World sports events. He was elected as a representative in the City of Novi Sad Assembly on June 16th, 2008. Since November 2012 until June 2016 he was performing a role of Head of South Bačka District. Currently he is the Head of Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research for a period 2016-2020.
He is married and a father of two children.
