He was born on 30. 8. 1962 in Bačka Palanka and enrolled in the Faculty of Physical Education in Novi Sad and graduated in 1989. He received his master’s degree under the title “Relationships of Some Indicators of Specific Tests for Boys Selected for Athletics with Running Times at 30 and 300 meters” in 1995, and defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Effects of Experimental Treatment on the Development of Speed Endurance with Girls” in 2016, at the same faculty. Since 1989 he has been working at the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education of the University of Novi Sad in the rank of an assistant trainee, assistant, lecturer for conditioning and is currently in the position of assistant with a doctorate. The narrower field of work is Basic disciplines in sports and physical education, and he teaches in the group of Athletics courses, Athletics I and Athletics II. He was a member of the Faculty Council as well as Secretary of the Chair for Individual Sports. He has participated as a researcher in several multi-annual projects, funded by the line republic and provincial Ministries. He was a member of the Expert Staff of the Athletic Association of Yugoslavia and the Expert Council of the Athletic Federation of Serbia, and is now a member of the Expert Staff of the Athletic Association of Serbia and the Expert Council of the Athletic Association of Vojvodina. He is a licensed athletics coach as well as a coach of several top athletes participating in the Olympic Games and the finals of the European Championships. He was awarded the best junior athletics coach in 2006. He has also successfully worked as a conditioning coach with a number of top athletes, as well as teams such as BFC in basketball, Volero Zurich and Olympiakos in volleyball, Vojvodina football club and many others. As an athlete, he was a senior national team player for Yugoslavia in the junior and senior category, where he competed for national selection in the 400 m hurdles and 4×400 m disciplines and took part in many significant competitions from the Balkans to the Student World Championships. He speaks English.
